Light & Sound Design joins PRG

The Production Resource Group (PRG) has announced a merger with Light & Sound Design (LSD), a performance lighting equipment supplier with strong links to the concert touring market. "With this merger, the PRG Lighting Group now offers our clients proprietary products and a complete menu of services for the technologically demanding events of today," says PRG CEO Jere Harris.
"We made the decision to join PRG because in becoming a member of this multinational team of talented companies, we can offer our clients increased service and value, without sacrificing the elements of Light & Sound Design that are so important to us," says LSD president Nick Jackson. "As a member of the PRG team, we will expand our markets and have a talented pool of people and resources to support the development of our lighting technology for the future."
Jackson will continue as president of LSD, which has offices in Los Angeles and Nashville in the US, and London and Birmingham in England. The company's management team, already shareholders in LSD, will also become PRG shareholders, and are now committed to play an integral role in the PRG Lighting Group.
PRG companies include Scenic Technologies, Bash Lighting Services, Vanco Lighting Services, Cinema Services, Lighting Technologies, ProMix, Thoughtful Designs, Design Dynamics/Exhibits, and Harris Production Services.
