What makes for great gobo design? From foliage to clouds, fire, ice, and rain, gobos add patterns, textures, layers, and even emotion to lighting design. Lighting Dimensions invites you to be part of a special workshop about gobo design to be held on Saturday, November 12 (11:00am to 12:30pm) at ETS-LDI in Orlando. Josh Alemany of Rosco will host this session, along with a panel of lighting designers including Christina Giannelli, resident LD at the Houston Ballet. The purpose of the session is to evaluate new ideas for gobo designs that are submitted to Rosco in advance of the session and that will be considered for inclusion in the extensive Rosco gobo catalog. “Everyone is welcome to submit their ideas,” says Alemany. “We are always looking for good designs.”
