LMG, a national provider of video, audio, and lighting support, was recently awarded the contract as the onsite, preferred audio visual supplier at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in Orlando, Florida for a fourth term.
LMG has been the onsite provider at the OCCC since 1998 and signed the contract to continue for five years, with a two-year extension option, securing their presence at the facility through 2020. LMG has onsite staff and technicians at the OCCC, and the firm’s 108,000 square foot office and warehouse is less than six miles from the convention center.
The Orange County Convention Center brings over 200 events a year to Central Florida, and offers a seven million square foot facility, with 2.1 million square feet of meeting and exhibition space, making it the second largest convention center in the country. Committed to sustainability, the OCCC is the largest convention center in the world to hold a LEED® Operations and Maintenance Gold (EBOM) level certification.
“We have been onsite for 15 years, and are thrilled to be continuing our partnership with the OCCC,” said Les Goldberg, CEO/president of LMG. “As a preferred provider at the OCCC, we have the opportunity to provide high quality video, audio and lighting solutions within a first rate facility, and are able to support every aspect of the events for their convention and association clients.”
