French-Canadian projection designer Francis Laporte will lead a case study discussion about the projections in Criss Angel Believe, Cirque du Soleil's newest resident show in Las Vegas opening this fall at the Luxor. The discussion will be featured in the Live Design Projection Master Classes at LDI2008, which take place in Las Vegas on October 21-23. Joining Laporte  are Tom Juliano, Believe’s projection manager, and Cirque du Soleil’s media guru Luc Lavergne, plus Nigel Sadler from Green Hippo. Find out all about the innovative video content and technology used in Believe in an in-depth discussion moderated by Bob Bonniol, principal designer for MODE Studios and the creative consultant for the classes.

All attendees at the Projection Master Classes will attend Criss Angel Believe on Tuesday evening, October 21, with the case study taking place on Wednesday, October 22. Designed by Ray Winker (sets), Meredith Caron (costumes), Jeanette Farmer (lighting), Francis Laporte (projections), Jonathan Deans (sound), and Michael Curry (props and puppets), this show is a haunting exploration deep inside the inventive mind of mystifier Criss Angel as he hovers between the land of the living and a surreal world uniquely woven together by the distinctive imaginations of Criss Angel and Cirque du Soleil. Post-show Q&A in the theatre and a reception in the lobby.
