Special effects equipment company CITC has released the Starhazer II with double the haze output of the previous StarHazer, cycle/direct/remote operation, and DMX on-board.
The DMX512 allows control from a light board using only one channel. It also has a 5-pin XLR "In" and "Send" feature for setting up other units on the same DMX line. A 25’ remote control is included and features either manual on and off operation, and timed operation of 0-60 seconds on or 0-4 minutes off. StarHazer II DMX now comes with a control switch that allows for direct power, which provides the convenience of testing the unit without the controls.
StarHazer II DMX has been double insulated for quiet operation, has shock-absorbing motor mounts, insulated baffles, a sound deadening intake filter, and filter covers on the intake fans.
A seven filter system keeps the unit free from debris; CITC designed the unit to provide the cleanest oil-based haze on the market today. A Dual Opening in front provides far and wide coverage. It allows for two layers of output. The back of the machine has extended panels that protect the connectors from damage.
