The Hoist Grid Stand from Sapsis Rigging safely attaches a chain hoist to an existing structure, providing a secure attachment of any manual or electric chain hoist to the theatre grid steel. With its wide footprint, it evenly distributes the weight of the load over a large area, helping to prevent damage to individual grid channels. In addition, it allows the load to be dead-hung from the stand, taking the weight off the chain hoist, per manufacturer specifications. As many grids do not have large openings the unit is bolted together, so it can be brought to the grid in sections and assembled in place.
