Wenger Enhances Instrument Storage Cabinets

Wenger Corp. has made significant enhancements to its instrument storage cabinets, including new models and options, more color laminate choices and additional material choices, including environmentally sensitive core material.

Ten new cabinets provide more alternatives to fit a customer’s space and budget requirements, whether for different instruments or younger students. For added security, Wenger now offers an optional heavy-duty grille door on select cabinet models. To simplify labeling, cabinet label holders now fit a standard business card. Wenger’s cabinet-selection software – recently updated – determines the optimal cabinet configuration to meet instrumentation needs and available space.

Seven standard color combinations offer improved aesthetics to coordinate with a wide range of interior décor. New laminate colors include cherry, fusion maple, solar oak and evening tigris, with complementary accent colors on edging and hardware.

Panel core material is now available in five different compositions, including fire-rated and moisture-resistant material. An environmentally sensitive core material option is formaldehyde-free, recycled and made from rapidly renewable resources. This core material meets the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards for high-performance sustainable buildings; Wenger is a USGBC member.

Instrument storage cabinets still feature Wenger’s patented polyethylene shelves that withstand abuse while treating instruments and cases gently.
