CM Introduces Theatrical Alloy Chain And Anchor Shackles

Columbus Mckinnon's (CM) entertainment division introduces the CM Special Theatrical Alloy Chain (STAC) and CM Screw Pin Anchor Shackles. The STAC is designed for theatrical rigging applications where bridle adjustability is required. The ½” diameter alloy steel provides superior strength with working limits up to 12,000 lbs.

Specs of the STAC are as follows: heat treated, fire abrasion resistant, 4:1 design factor meeting or exceeding worldwide standards, and each link is proof-tested to assure weld and material integrity. Chain is tagged with size, grade, reach, working load limit, and embossed with STAC and CM for easy identification. Link accepts shackles up to ¾” in size for versatility and adjustability.

The CM Screw Pin Anchor Shackles have a size diameter of 3/16” to 2” provide ultimate strength equaling five times the working load limit. Shackles have a working load limit of 1/2 to 35 tons. All shackle bodies and pins are forged from special steel, heat treated, and tempered to give greater strength and abrasion resistance.
