AVFX Introduces the Seamless Plasma Display to the US
Boston-based, audiovisual staging and installations company AVFX has added the Seamless Plasma Display to its inventory, making it the first US company to provide the Display in the US and only the third company world-wide.
The Seamless Plasma Displays allow for diverse, creative choices with flexible user options. “These new M-PDP panels combine the best of older technologies in a new product with new uses--multi-video aspect of video walls, with the minimal depth and maximum resolution of plasma screens,” says AVFX president Murray Lapides. Each individual panel depth is only 3". Similar to old-fashioned video walls, these plasmas can be assembled in unlimited shapes and sizes. Yet these new plasmas have only a 2 mm seam between each panel.
Their unlimited input options, including VGA, Component and DVI, allow users to mix any multi-source images. With the widest viewing angle available, they can be flown overhead, wall-mounted or floor-supported. Clients can view the displays from up close, from the side, or from a distance, all while efficiently save space.
