d&b audiotechnik Participates Again In The BSMC

The sixth annual Broadway Sound Master Classes(BSMC) will take place from May 16th to 18th at the Tisch School of the Arts, Abe Burrows Theatre, at New York University. Consisting of two full days of in-depth exploration of the current trends in theatre sound design and reinforcement from the artistic process to new technology with Abe Jacob as creative consultant. d&b audiotechnik will be participating as a sponsor of this event. In addition, their presenter, John Taylor, will fly from the UK to make a presentation on Sunday May 18th from 3:30pm to 4:45pm on the subject of The Anatomy of a loudspeaker and how selecting the right one will enhance your life.

This two-day event is dedicated to Broadway sound design and technology and among the faculty this year are sound designers Jonathan Deans, Peter Hylenski, Rob Milburn, Michael Bodeen, Dan Moses Schreier and Steve Sockey as well as technical sessions by industry professionals. BSMC attendees will also see the Broadway musical Young Frankenstein on the evening of Friday, May 16th, followed the next day by a discussion and in-depth design analysis with sound designer Jonathan Dean.
