Unaxis Optics Files Patent Infringement Lawsuits

Unaxis Optics (SWX:UNAX), manufacturer of thin film optical components and leader in the projection display market, has successfully established a licensing program for its patented ColorWheels™. Multiple market players have used the opportunity to lawfully license Unaxis’ ColorWheel™ technology.

However, Unaxis has filed initial lawsuits for patent infringement against ProDisc Technology Inc. and Delta Electronics Inc., both Taiwanese companies. Respective complaints have been filed with the German Landgericht Düsseldorf court.
