Creative Stage Lighting Introduces Wireless Solutions W-DMX
Creative Stage Lighting is distributing Wireless Solutions AB’sWireless DMX Blackbox transmitters and receivers. The W-DMX protocol offered by Wireless Solution has many advantages over traditional W-LAN methods for transmitting DMX signals wirelessly. It features talkback functionality and true plug and play capability. It has been built specifically for DMX and also uses Time Division Multiplexing and Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum, making it more reliable when compared to W-LAN-based DMX systems.
“Wireless Solution’s W-DMX is an evolutionary step in lighting control technology.” says Creative Stage Lighting CEO George Studnicky. “Stocking both W-DMX products and our own line of Dura-Flex cable gives our dealer network the best in both wired and wireless DMX transmission.”
W-DMX receivers and transmitters are available immediately to Creative Stage Lighting’s dealer network and have also been added to CSL’s rental and production inventory.
Wireless Solution recently won an award for outstanding product at LDI 2005 for its IP65 outdoor receiver and has been used in high-profile projects including the Nobel Prize Awards and the 2006 Winter Olympic Games.
