New ETC Products At Lightfair 2006

ETC is showcasing its architectural lighting products at the Lightfair 2006 trade show at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Tuesday, May 30th – Thursday, June 1st, 2006.

ETC has completed an agreement to be the exclusive North American distributor of Pharos™ Architectural Control products. Some of the products available for viewing at Lightfair include the award-winning Pharos compact Lighting Playback Controller (LPC), which reinvents the idea of lighting control used in architectural or themed settings, and the Designer Software that commands the latest technologies – LEDs, automated fixtures and pixel-mapped video clip playback – for designing artistic lighting.

Visitors to the ETC booth will learn about the LonWorks® Sensor Integration for daylight harvesting, which is now available with ETC Unison® LightManager™. LonWorks photo sensors are available with two modes: switching mode, which allows the station to control any object in the system with full-logic, adjustable thresholds and timing; and daylight harvesting mode, which allows the station to control any dimmable object with configurable sensitivity and reaction time.

The newest addition to the ETC Smart Solutions™ line of compact lighting gear is SmartSwitch™ 48, which will be officially introduced at the Lightfair 2006 tradeshow. SmartSwitch completes a budget-oriented control system, giving any venue flexibility and power with ‘on-off’ functionality for any light source, controlling relays via ETC’s SmartLink™ control, DMX, or in stand-alone operation. SmartSwitch prepares lighting systems for the future by handling a wide variety of load types, and accepting more relays as necessary.

Lightfair showgoers will also get to check out the new field angles that have been added to the ETC Source Four®-line of HID fixtures: 14o, 70o and 90o. A full range of Source Four architectural fixtures are available for architectural spotlighting and floodlighting applications needing dimmable long-throws, superb area coverage, and long-life lamps for lowered maintenance. And now end users can get even more from a Source Four with ETC’s Enhanced Definition Lens Tube (EDLT) option. An easy-to-attach accessory for 19o, 26o, 36o, and 50o Source Four fixture bodies, the innovative EDLT provides heightened sharpness and phenomenal contrast to any gobo. Corporate logos and projected images have never had such clarity. The EDLT will be a big draw at Lightfair with its must-see-to-believe imaging impact.

At their booth (#1128), ETC will also be holding a daily drawing for a Source Four HID fixture with the new EDLT option.
