Altman Rentals is hosting an LED Manufacturers Showcase Thursday, June 22nd  2pm-7pm and Friday, June 23rd 10am-3pm at its facilities in Yonkers, NY. Leading LED manufacturers will be showing the latest technologies as well as discussing current projects and future developments of LED fixtures. A unique part of the two-day event will be the opportunity to hear several lighting designers discussing working with LED fixtures, mixing them with conventional and moving lights, and where they see the future of this prominent technology going when designing with LEDs for events, theatre, television, and film applications.

The Manufacturers Showcase includes AC Lighting, Altman Lighting, Barco, Color Kinetics, James Thomas Engineering, and Pulsar, with more still to be announced. The current slate of designers includes Herrick Goldman, Guy Smith, Michael Fink, Rita Kogler Carver, Susan Nicholson, and Jamie Burnett. “We have been renting a lot of LED fixtures to a wide variety of users for a lot of different applications,” says Randy Altman, owner of Altman Rentals. “We have been getting more and more requests for the gear as well as a lot of inquiries about newer LED lighting technology from our clients. This will be a way to bring together a lot of the leading LED manufacturers in one place along with a variety of lighting designers who work with the technology. We look forward to a lot of great interaction between designers, programmers, end-users and the manufacturers. This is about serving our clients and helping them get the answers they need to make the best gear choices to serve their design needs.”

The LED Manufacturers Showcase and designer talks are free to attend. Food and refreshments will be served.
