Wireless Solution W-DMX At PLASA

Wireless Solution Sweden AB (Stand G30) has submitted the new W-DMX IP65 Repeater for the 2005 PLASA Innovation Award.

New to the W-DMX family, the W-DMX IP65 Repeater solves distance and connection problems for productions and installation companies. Since Wireless DMX supports a distance up to 20km between each repeater, W-DMX IP65 Repeater makes distance problems or height differences between buildings disappear. At PLASA, Wireless Solution Sweden AB will also display its W-DMX IP65 Transceiver that supports RDM.

All W-DMX products offer a talk-back function, plug-and-play solution for wireless DMX 512, and system set up in less then 60 seconds. The system supports up to 16 DMX 512 universes. It is protected against interference using Adaptive FHSS that change frequency more than 1,000 times each second. TDMA provides additional security and every universe is protected with PIN codes. W-DMX follows ETSI and FCC standards.

Last year’s PLASA Innovation Award winner, W-DMX Black Box, is now available in the MK2 version with an improved design. Wireless Solution is developing the OEM W-DMX TRX PCB generation IV unit, which will follow North American UL regulations. The latest version of W-DMX TRX PCB supports the wireless update of the W-DMX software and the fixture itself.

W-DMX units have been involved, together with OEM Clients and distributors, in international projects, such as the London and Copenhagen Opera Houses, and outdoor projects like Gradara Castle (Italy), Montreux Jazzfestival (Switzerland), and the launch of the new SonyEricsson VO70 (VolvoOceanRace).

All visitors to the Wireless Solution stand (G30) have the chance to win a complete system of W-DMX products, with a value of 2,500 Euros.
