Lex Products has a new method for cable labeling that shortens turnaround times for all custom labeled cable sets. Having previously used printed heat-shrink labels so every custom label had to be made to order, Lex’s labels are now made from permanently self-laminating, weatherproof, durable translucent vinyl labels that are wrapped around the cable. These rugged labels are then covered with clear heat shrink tubing that is included on ever cable assembly, providing multi-layer label protection.
Custom labels can now be added to in-stock cables. Once customer information is received, the company can add custom labels and ship same day. These new labels can be printed on colored labels and accommodate a wide variety of fonts, graphics, and bar codes so rental houses can incorporate their own inventory control markings.
