Prismo from GAM Products, Inc. is a variable speed prism rotator designed to work with standard ellipsoidal spotlights to create motion and special effects. It is available with a three- or five-element prism and mounts in a 6¼" color frame slot to give motion to a still pattern. All units are variable speed, with several options for controlling rotation speed and direction. Speed can be varied by plugging into a dimmer or via the six-speed slider switch on the power supply. The unit is also available with inline speed control and can be plugged directly into a standard AC outlet. It is rated for continuous duty cycle for theme park and display applications.
