Hitachi America, Ltd. has introduced the CP-WUX645N 3LCD projector, with WUXGA (1920x1200) resolution, 10-bit image processing, and a brightness of 4,200 ANSI lumens. The company’s Perfect Fit technology enables precise adjustment of the projected image by moving the four corners individually. A 2x zoom lens helps flexible installation, and users can also manually shift the lens horizontally and vertically without image distortion.

The projector’s Picture by Picture feature allows projection of two images from two separate computers (or one computer and one video [or HDMI] source) on one screen at the same time for side-by-side viewing of the two desktops. Advanced networking functions provide management and complete control of multiple projectors over an entire LAN system.

Connectivity includes an HDMI input for the transmission of uncompressed digital audio/video streams, and additional inputs include an RGB port, BNC, component, S-video, and composite. A hybrid filter reduces maintenance and cleaning, and a security bar allows easy attachment of a security chain. Advanced security features such as a PIN lock can limit the number of users for the projector. In addition, the transition detector can prevent unauthorized use.
