The 2010 release of Nemetschek North America’s Vectorworks® line of design software builds upon the integration of the Parasolid® 3D modeling core. This version adds bi-directional association features and an intuitive 3D modeling environment to ensure that changes are reflected throughout the entire design. Notable functionality additions include planar graphics and working plane improvements; associative hatching; improvements to the import or export of IFC, DWG, and SKP files; a new event-planning suite; video screen tools; and rendering options such as decals and improved texture mapping.
