City Theatrical has aimed to create a scenic effects projection system similar to those used for nearly 100 years, but without the noise and lack of reliability of previous versions.  Developed in partnership with White Light Ltd. of London, the VSFX3 is a new version of the White Light VSFX System, and it is compatible with the accessories for all previous versions of the VSFX and the Patt 252 effects. The VSFX3 has an advanced drive system that makes it completely smooth and silent. It uses an 18" glass disk for effects that move horizontally across the gate for maximum realism. The unit can create realistic effects including clouds, flames, fire, rippling water, rain, or snow, and it has a Vapor Trails disk for additional options.
