BigLites exhibited its new projectors the BigLite 4.5 xenon, LittleBigLite 2.5, and the MiniBigLite 1.0 for the first time at its ETS-LDI Booth #2831.

The BigLite 4.5 xenon is a large format intelligent xenon fixture developed and manufactured by ZAP technology in Paris, France, in conjunction with Lumient LP out of Dallas and X&Y Systèmes, also in Paris.

The BigLite 4.5 offers lighting designers real-time color mixing and diffusion with electronic strobe effects and energy saving standby modes--improving bulb life, fan noise, and heat output. The fixture will generate a spot to wash effect 3 times per second.

DMX programming is accomplished with onboard pre-programmed shows and a user friendly menu on the fixture and ballast. The fixture is specifically designed for concert tours, film & television, and live events. BigLites Europe & BigLites America are releasing this fixture for rental and permanent installation sales starting in February 2005.

BigLites' LittleBigLite 2.5 fixture's features include: 2500W Xenon lamp, remote lamp adjustment, external electronic ballast 15kg--Mounted in Rack, pan 850 degrees, tilt 270 degrees, stainless axis, progressive strobe, and strobe delay, rugged Fibre Composite construction, 13 channels, and USITT DMX512.

The MiniBigLite 1.0 featres: pan 560° and tilt 270°, XBO 1000W, quiet cooling system, zoom focus from 3° to 35°, up to 100 colors Pastels & Satured, strobe function, progressive strobe & random effects, ZAP’s Custom Clamp, Weight 33kg, size 730 x 247 x 440mm, USITT DMX 512, and 12 Channels.
