BALTIMORE Image Engineering has acquired the full SXL and support gear inventory of the Syncrolite rental division. The acquisition of Syncrolite’s SXL 7000-watt xenon large format fixtures add to the niche offerings of Image Engineering and now come with a level of customer service that has long set Image apart from the competition.
“Image Engineering has always been a company that has thrived in niche and boutique offerings. Whether it is lasers or special effects, Image understands how to integrate these elements into a larger production, so acquiring Syncrolite’s SXLs was a natural progression for us,” says Executive Vice President, Andy Suehle.
Suehle adds that “long time Syncrolite clients and new partners will be blown away by the level of service provided by the Image team. We pride ourselves on making each client and every show our top priority.” Image Engineering will debut its new Syncrolite SXLs at Light City Baltimore 2017, providing a new dimension of lighting above the city’s inner harbor.
Syncrolite has been the leader in large format lighting and xenon technology since 1984. Clients have ranged from major touring artists to major events like the Super Bowl and Olympics, and around the world for special events. Syncrolite SXLs utilize high efficiency holographic lenses, dichroic film color mixing, precise beam shaping, flat field washes and a weatherized enclosure.
Image Engineering was formed in 1995 by the Suehle brothers as a special effects entertainment company. Over the past twenty years Image Engineering has grown to a firm of designers, engineerings, fabricators and producers creating some of the worlds best special effects and is recognized as one of the world’s leaders in laser technology. Their client list now includes over ten National Football League teams, national touring acts and televised productions both domestic and international
