Introducing Multichrome Flex - the next generation of Pixi-Flex, now with the added benefit of IP67 rating.
Multichrome Flex is a string of miniature self-contained LED colour pixels moulded onto a cable. Each pixel measures just 38mm in diameter with a 17mm lens and can be either individually addressed or controlled as a group.
Every pixel is encapsulated in a plastic housing making it a durable, weather resistant solution for outside events, concerts and exterior architectural applications.
Perfect for colour wall and low-res video wall applications, Multichrome Flex contains a custom silicon chip that receives high-speed data from the controller and allows each pixel to be individually controlled at the high speed needed for video display. Multichrome Flex can also be programmed and controlled using Artistic Licence Colour-Tramp to display real-time video alongside stunning visual effects.
Its small size, low weight and low heat allow Multichrome Flex pixels to be push-fitted into almost any structure including sets, walls and other architectural features. Multichrome Flex can be deployed outdoors or indoors: its IP67 rating makes it the only RGB LED system of its kind at this specification.
Waterproof, robust, solid and reliable, Multichrome Flex has been built using tried and tested Pixi-Flex technology for a high quality finish. Click-together cabling makes Multichrome Flex flexible enough for any application: wrapped around columns, on curved or spherical video walls, in retail window displays, at concerts, on architectural features, indoors or out - the scope is endless and the choice is yours!
Multichrome Flex can also be attached to flexible webbing to offer a versatile grid alternative mounting option. Custom cable and over-mould colours are available (subject to minimum order quantity).
Out of control? Not any more!
A total of 32 Multichrome Flex pixels can be driven from a single control cable.
Three controllers are available, each of which have been developed alongside Multichrome Flex to give maximum power and control options:
Multichrome D1 gives DMX512 control and power to 160 pixels (5 circuits) of Multichrome Flex and is housed in a metal case for wall or truss mounting.
Multichrome E1 gives Art-Net control and power to 320 pixels (10 circuits) of Multichrome Flex and is housed in a metal case for wall or truss mounting.
Multichrome E2 gives Art-Net control and power to 320 pixels (10 circuits) of Multichrome Flex and is DIN-Rail mounted for easy installation.
Have it your way…
Multichrome Flex is available in three formats:
Multichrome Flex 16/250 (16 pixels on a nominal 250mm pitch)
Multichrome Flex 32/125 (32 pixels on a nominal 125mm pitch
