GearSource At New Hard Rock Park
Slated to open in Myrtle Beach in May 2008, Hard Rock Park will celebrate the spirit of rock and roll through rock and roll-themed rides and attractions, marking the single largest tourism investment in South Carolina’s history.
GearSource’s sales team worked with lighting designer Bob Shultz and Hard Rock staff to provide the package they needed, including 20 High End Systems’ Studio Color 575s and 26 Studio Spot 575s, Wybron Scrollers, ETC Source Fours, and a Hog iPC.
Gear-Source president, Marcel Fairbairn says, “We’re proud to be working with this exciting new theme park, and we’re thrilled we were able to pull together what they needed. The package was pulled together through multiple vendors and likely couldn’t have been pulled off by another supplier.”
This new package will be used in a venue called the Ice House Theatre where “Country On The Rocks” a country music themed ice show on a 50’ x 50’ real ice stage will be performed daily beginning in Spring 2008. The park also features attractions such as “Led Zeppelin” a 65mph, 15-story roller coaster and the “Roadie Stunt Show.”
