BSL Productions Colors Baltimore Purple
Baltimore City government offices and Baltimore-based businesses recently turned to BSL Productions in record numbers with a strange request—for purple gels. BSL sold in excess of 1,200 sheets of purple gels last month over the course of just 10 days. The sales came after the Mayor’s Office asked downtown business owners and other city offices to cover normally non-colored light fixtures in purple to celebrate the Baltimore Ravens’ playoff berth and second NFC North Division Title.
“The response from the Baltimore community to the mayor’s request has been fantastic! This town really has Ravens spirit,” exclaims Ransom Cooke, sales manager at BSL Productions, Inc.
“Between the city’s enthusiasm behind their football team and of course, the Ravens’ winning record, we have seen a demand for purple gels and purple lighting effects like we never have before, ” notes Ajay Patil, owner and president of BSL Productions, Inc./Showcall, Inc.
