9 to 5, The Musical
9 to 5 The Musical takes the hit 80s film to the Broadway stage with sets by Scott Pask, costumes by William Ivey Long, images by Peter Nigrini, lighting/images by Jules Fisher and Peggy Eisenhauer, and lighting by Kenneth Posner. Gear includes equipment from Yamaha, Element Labs, Rosco, PRG, XL Video, MA Lighting, and more.
PROBLEM/SOLUTION
High Tech Design, Reasonable Budget
For MTV Networks Entertainment as a Second Language with Carlos Santos (ESL), production designer Terry Gipson and lighting designer Michael Grabowski had to create high-tech design for little budget. Gear includes equipment from Philips/Color Kinetics, ETC, Altman, Martin, High End Systems, and more.
EVENT
Rocking The Rabbit At SXSW
For the tenth annual Rock The Rabbit party, hosted by Playboy and C3 Presents during the South by Southwest event and including a performance by Jane’s Addication, the hosts called upon Bryan Azar and his crew at Ilios Lighting to design, supply, and operate the lighting and visuals. Gear included equipment primarily from Martin Professional.
CLUB/LOUNGE
The Living Room
The Living Room, with clubs in London, Paris, Tokyo, New York and now Fort Lauderdale, is the latest addition to the Las Olas Riverfront club scene. Designed and installed by Jay Krause of Sound & Lighting Solutions, gear includes equipment from Chauvet, Elation, Martin Professional, American DJ, Acclaim, Denon, Pioneer, Rane, and more.
